Emily Rutherford Emily Rutherford is a junior at Princeton University, though right now she's studying abroad at Oxford. She studies intellectual and cultural history, which is why she serves as the company dramaturge, providing directors and actors with historical and cultural context for shows such as Waiting for Godot and Romeo and Juliet.

She edits the CTC's biweekly newsletter, and, with tech experience from high school and college productions, has chipped in backstage every so often as well. Eventually, Emily will go to graduate school for a Ph.D. in history and will hopefully make history her career, but until then she looks forward to finishing college and spending some time living in Rhode Island and working for the theater.
