Lillian Mathews was a founding member of the Contemporary Theater Company and served on the Board of Directors from 2006 to 2010.
An undergraduate student at Brown University, Lily is working toward a degree at the Center for Environmental Studies. Her community involvement includes food justice campaigns and research on urban redevelopment and alternative transportation strategies in the city of Providence, R.I. She's been a chief organizer and advisor for A Better World by Design, a completely student-run conference focusing on sustainable design and social entrepreneurship.
At Brown University, Lily is part of the Ensemble Theatre Project, a Viewpoints/Suzuki training and composition group. She has also been active in a number of plays and readings at the university's student-run theater, Production Workshop.
