Sound Technician & Actor

Christopher Gilroy has been with the company since its birth. Taking various roles, you can usually find him hidden behind the mixer at the back of the theater. Last year marked the first acting he had ever done, playing the role of Ed in You Can't Take It With You.

In the off season, he attends UMass Lowell studying sound recording technology with a focus in percussion and jazz drumming. Playing with audio is a past time, as well as composing percussion ensemble pieces (his first piece performed this past year at UMass Lowell). Gilroy also plays drums and electronics for the South Kingstown rock band, Next Haven. Any free time he has, he spends researching and studying to travel to South America to record traditional and ritual music from the area.
