Corey Sickinger is a graduate of the University of Connecticut (Class '08) where he is studied computer engineering. He was also a member of the University of Connecticut Marching Band.
Though Corey's list of theatrical credits is still rather short, he enjoys all aspects of the theater, and even experienced a brief run of success writing scripts in the Spanish language during high school. His first appearance on stage was in the South Kingstown Junior High production of Vaudeville's My Home , in which he played the role of JT McDowell. In 2005, he was seen playing the role of Officer Ben Welch in Neil Simon's Rumors, the Courthouse Theater Company's maiden voyage. In his second season with the CTC, he appeared as Diego in the "Lemon Cake Incident" at the first CTC 24-Hour Play Festival, and as Paul Sycamore in You Can't Take It With You. He also wrote "Qi-a pet" for the third annual 24-Hour Play Festival.
Corey also enjoys doing theatrical tech, and has helped construct the sets for Rumors , and You Can't Take It With You. He assisted setting up lights for Proof. He also constructed the "Queen Mary" boat model for You Can't Take It With You.
Apart from theater, Corey's interests include computers, music and comedy.
