Actress & Member of the Board

Lily Mathews is a genius South Kingstown High School graduate as well as an actress and a member of the Board of Directors. She will attend Brown University in the fall.
Past theater credits include Once Upon a Mattress (Winnifred), Oliver! (Mrs. Sowerberry), Loving Lives (Abigail), The Music Man (Eulalie), The Crucible (Elizabeth Proctor), and A Thurber Carnival (Dr. Remington). As a member of the All Children's Theater for a short while, Lily appeared in American Vaudeville (Fanny Brice), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Bottom), A Sure Thing (Betty) and Cinderella (The Fairy Godmother). In spring 2007, Lily won Best Actress at the Princeton University 24-Hour Play Festival.
With the Courthouse Theater Company, Lily appeared in the CTC's summer 2005 debut Rumors as Cassie Cooper, and took on the role of Catherine in the summer 2006 premiere show, Proof. Also in 2006, she performed in "The Lemon Cake Incident" at the CTC's first 24-Hour Play Festival, winning Best Actress, and in You Can't Take It With You as Alice Sycamore. In 2007, she appeared in the CTC's second 24-Hour Play Festival, appearing as Amanda in "Couple's Therapy," winning Best Actress.
During the 2007 summer season, Lily holds the role of Dolly Levi in The Matchmaker, and will also act in the season's final show, Set and Drift.
Even better than everything previously mentioned, Lily helps build sets with her innate construction skills. Aside from acting, Lily enjoys concocting delicious vegan desserts, writing, yoga, and hypothetically becoming the world's greatest rock climber ever. She also could probably beat you in a dance off, just saying.
