About the company
The Courthouse Theater Company was formed last summer by Christopher Simpson, a South Kingstown resident and Princeton University student. With a cast and crew comprised of college and high school students, most from South Kingstown, the Company was incorporated as a non-profit in May 2006 with Simpson as its president and artistic director.
Last summer the company performed Neil Simon's Rumors and this year successfully took on David Auburn's Proof, which closed July 2.
The season will wrap up with You Can't Take It With You , the crazy comedy by George Kaufman and Moss Hart, showing daily from Aug. 17 to Aug. 20. Both heartwarming and hilarious, this Pulitzer Prize-winning show will send the summer 2006 season out with style.
