FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
WEST KINGSTON, R.I. - The Courthouse Theater Co. is pleased to announce the presentation of original shorts on the Village Green in Peace Dale, R.I. The short comedic plays, each about 15 minutes, will be shown free on Sunday, June 24 at 6:30 p.m., weather permitting.
"One of our company's major goals for the 2007 season is integrating ourselves more thoroughly into the community," Company Director Christopher J. Simpson said. "Presenting a few of our original scenes on the Village Green is a terrific way to kick off the summer, bringing the community together to celebrate the natural beauty of South Kingstown while reminding everyone that the local theater is alive and well."
The Village Green is on Kingstown Road (Route 108), next to the South Kingstown Neighborhood Guild and across the street from the Peace Dale Library. For more information visit www.courthousetheater.com.
